What to know before you walk through the door.

Do I need an ID to enter, if so, what forms do you accept?

Yes. All customers must present a valid government-issued photo ID proving they are 21 or older before entering the dispensary. IDs are checked upon entry and again at purchase if needed.

We accept valid government-issued photo IDs such as driver's licenses, state IDs, passports, and tribal IDs.

Expired IDs and screenshots of IDs cannot be accepted.

Can I consume cannabis at the dispensary?

No cannabis consumption is permitted on the premises unless specifically authorized by Minnesota law.

Can Deep Roots refuse service?

Yes. Deep Roots reserves the right to refuse service for invalid identification, intoxication, suspicious activity, harassment of staff, or noncompliance with store policies.

What in-store policies should customers be aware of?

  • No weapons permitted inside the dispensary
  • Pets are not permitted except trained service animals
  • Photography or filming within the dispensary may be restricted

What payment methods do you accept?

Deep Roots currently accepts cash only. An ATM is available on-site for customer convenience.

Can I place orders online?

Yes. Online ordering availability may vary based on inventory and operating hours.

How much cannabis can I legally purchase and possess in Minnesota?

Under current Minnesota law, adults 21+ may legally purchase and possess up to 2 ounces of cannabis flower, up to 8 grams of cannabis concentrate, and edible cannabinoid products containing up to 800mg THC total.

Possession limits outside a private residence may differ from in-home storage limits. Deep Roots follows all Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management regulations and transaction limits.

Can discounts and promotions be combined?

Discounts and promotions cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

Can I return cannabis products?

Due to Minnesota cannabis regulations, cannabis products generally cannot be returned once they leave the premises unless the product is defective, subject to a recall, or otherwise permitted by law and Deep Roots policy.

How long do edibles take to work?

Edibles may take 30 minutes to 2 hours to fully take effect. Start low and go slow. Do not consume additional product too quickly.

Can your staff give medical advice?

No. Deep Roots employees may provide product education, but cannot provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.

How can I report a product issue or customer service concern?

Deep Roots values customer feedback and takes product and service concerns seriously. Customers may contact the store directly regarding product concerns, defective products, packaging issues, or service-related complaints so management can review the situation appropriately.
